About WSET training

This qualification provides an introduction on how to taste wine and the principal grape varieties/main styles of wines available in the world. The course also includes general information on storing/serving wine, and the pairing of wine with food. This is a great introductory course for front-line staff involved in the service or sale of wine or those wishing to learn more about wine. 

The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is an internationally recognised qualification for those wishing to learn about a wide range of wine regions and grape varieties. You will participate in tutored tastings of world-renowned grape varieties and wine styles while learning about the factors that influence their style and quality. You will also learn how to describe and discuss wine characters with clarity and confidence.

The WSET Level 3 Award in Wines provides a thorough understanding of grape growing and winemaking. Through tutored tastings and informed formal delivery, you will learn how to describe the characteristics of the principal wines of the world and provide detailed information on the factors that influence style, quality and value. Your advanced knowledge of wine production can be used to provide guidance and understanding to others as both an industry professional or enthusiastic amateur.
